Established in 1989, JD Pharmacy is a leading provider of pharmaceuticals and OTC products with a national reach in Tanzania.

In 2003, we developed our FMCG division with good warehousing and cold storage facilities increasing our product lines to cater for a wider clientele.

As exclusive distributors and agents for a number of pharmaceutical and FMCG brands as well as joint distributors for many others, we supply to pharmacies, hospitals / health facilities, aid agencies and charitable trusts within private, public and NGO sectors, and to wholesalers, distributors, retailers and supermarkets.

We currently have five pharmacy retail outlets in Dar es Salaam together with an excellent distribution network covering the whole of Tanzania.

In 2011, we ranked 49th of the Top 100 SME’s in Tanzania, through selection conducted by The Citizen media group and KPMG
